Trinidad and Tobago Public Holidays 2007

Trinidad and Tobago observes fourteen official, and two unofficial, public holidays annually:

The laws of Trinidad and Tobago state: When a public holiday falls on a Sunday, the holiday will be observed on the Monday following immediately. When two public holidays fall on the same date the following date is also given as a public holiday.

† Although Carnival Monday and Tuesday are not official public holidays, commercial banks, government offices and most other businesses remain closed.

‡ The dates listed for the Muslim festival Eil-Ul-Fitr and the Hindu festival Divali are estimates only. The actual public holiday dates are determined and announced 1-2 weeks prior to their observance each year.
